API terms and acceptable use

These terms apply to Australian Stamp Duty & Property Costs, operated by Zachariah March under the March APIs name. By using the API or website, you agree to these terms and the terms of the marketplace plan through which you access the API.

Service

The service returns deterministic estimates for published, supported Australian residential property scenarios. It is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government authority. Outputs are estimates only—not legal, tax, conveyancing or financial advice. Confirm material decisions with the relevant authority or a qualified professional.

Permitted use

You may call the API within your subscribed plan and use responses inside your own internal or customer-facing software. Keep source links, material assumptions and limitations available wherever an estimate could influence a transaction decision. You remain responsible for your input facts, eligibility declarations, user disclosures and compliance obligations.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • misrepresent an estimate as government-issued or guaranteed;
  • use the service to make an unsupported legal eligibility decision;
  • probe, bypass or interfere with access controls or rate limits;
  • send personal, identity or property documents in unsupported fields;
  • resell API access, mirror the service or redistribute its contract as a competing standalone data product without written permission;
  • use the service unlawfully or to cause harm.

No commercial redistribution licence is promised by these terms. Custom redistribution or support rights require a separate written agreement and appropriate review.

Plans and availability

RapidAPI administers subscriptions, billing, quotas, cancellation and refunds. Published rule versions are immutable. Coverage may be narrowed or a rule may fail closed when an official source is ambiguous, changes unexpectedly or cannot be verified. Material contract or price changes will be published before they apply where practicable.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes a right or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, the service is supplied without guarantees beyond the published contract, and March APIs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on an estimate. Any permitted liability is limited, at March APIs' option, to resupplying the affected service or the amount paid for it during the preceding month.

Suspension and cancellation

Access may be suspended when reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate misuse or comply with law. If practical, March APIs will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. Subscription cancellation remains available through RapidAPI.

Contact

Questions can be sent through the RapidAPI provider contact or the project support tracker. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
